I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
As well as my own home-based private practice based in Kemsing, Sevenoaks and Orpington, I currently work in a secondary school in Kent. I am employed as a counsellor and in addition work in the inclusion department which involves supporting students with issues related to their wellbeing.
I have extensive experience working in both primary and secondary schools supporting all age groups with a wide range of issues. I have experience working within social care and charity based organisations that support families and communities that are affected by drugs, alcohol and other addictions. Below are some of the issues I can offer support with:
Stress related issues, addiction, sexuality, abuse, self-harm, bereavement, OCD, anxiety and depression
My aim is to provide a service to my clients that is based purely around their individual needs, however, adaptable if needed. I feel it is extremely important that a professional, non-judgemental and therapeutic relationship is created between client and counsellor and so I offer my clients an initial meeting at a reduced rate. The first meeting provides the opportunity to discuss what they require from their counselling and talk through how their sessions could progress.
